Not To Brag Or Anything But The Philadelphia Flyers Are Fuggin' Nasty
We'll have more on the game tomorrow but my lord. This team, man. This god dang team. Winners of 7 straight games. They've won each of their last 2 games against the Rangers. Each of the last 2 games against the Blue Jackets. Each of their last 2 games against the Panthers. Each of their last 2 games against the Capitals. 3 out of 4 points against the Penguins. This team is making a mockery out of the Eastern Conference and the boys are buzzzzzzzzzzzzin harder than they've ever buzzed before. And guess what?
They're now just 1 point behind the Caps for the lead in the Metro and they just so happen to have one of the easiest schedules remaining in the league. When they write textbooks about teams starting to peak at the right time, they will point to the 2019-20 Philadelphia Flyers men's professional ice hockey team. They're teaching the Masterclass right now. They're at a point right now where they're playing some hard dick playoff hockey but they're not going to be completely emotionally drained after having to sneak in on the last day of the regular season. Greasy hockey. Heart and balls hockey. But not "holy shit how did we make the playoffs" hockey. It's the best type of hockey to be playing and the Flyers have it dialed in right now.
My biggest concern at the moment is who wins the Conn Smythe--Nic Aube-Kubel or Derek Grant? You know that at least one of them is going to go off in the playoffs.
